Eid Aladha 2016

The embassy of the Republic of the Sudan in Bucharest, represented by the Consul of the Embassy Mrs. Zehor Hassan celebrated with the Sudanese community in Bucharest Eid Aladha 2016 (12 September) at the Sudanese Restaurant (Gedo Restaurant).

Almost the entire Sudanese community’s members attended the celebration. Children dressed in their colorful Eid’s dresses have added a nice flavor to the Eid day.

The Embassy offered all kids present on that splendid day very special gifts and toys. At the same time, two members of the Sudanese community were honored by the Embassy, as a token of appreciation, with silver plates, i.e.:

1. Mr. Issam Mirghani Mahmoud for his efforts in trying to gather the members of the community all the time and especially on Eid occasions;

2. Mr. Khalid Elhiwairis, head of the community, for his tireless efforts, as well, to gather and link Sudanese who live in Bucharest and in other Romanian cities.

The photos below reflect that special day:  41  45  51  61  66  68  175
